Today some of the ferrets had a chance to play in the new Tower of Fun. Here are two of the boys just having a good time!
I'm not sure who had more fun...the ferrets playing or Jerri watching them play!

The Ferret Haven has daily needs just to keep operating. Here is a list of items we need. Want to help? Feel free to donate one or more!

Paper towels
Trash bags (large and small)
Litter-We use Equine Pine or wood stove pellets which can be purchased at Tractor Supply
Toilet Tissue (yep...volunteer's use the potty too! LOL)
Simple Green concentrated cleaner
Spray bottles
Laundry soap
Dryer sheets
Bleach
Chicken baby food (stage 2--meat only, no meals)
Ferretone
Mops
Brooms
cash for medical supplies
But mostly we need....YOU! The Ferret Haven needs daily volunteers to come and scoop litter boxes, change bedding, clean cages, mop floors, and of course spend time with the ferrets.

- The Ferret Haven specializes in the long-term care of ferrets who are often overlooked by potential adopters, those who are older or have medical conditions. Established in 1999 in the NW Chicago Suburbs and later relocating to Louisville KY, as of October 2006, 634 ferrets have come through our doors. We currently average approx. 50 residents at any given time. Please consider adopting one of our special ferrets or sponsoring a permanant resident. www.theferrethaven.org
